About Us

Acacia Counseling and Wellness is the leading provider of private mental health care for college populations. We specialize in serving students, faculty and staff at major university systems, as well as the greater community. We provide a helping hand to individuals, couples and families as they work through depression, anxiety, relationship issues, attention/concentration issues, trauma, eating disorders, and many other challenges. Our services include individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatry, workshops, and social events.

We are staffed by licensed mental health professionals who have experience working with and understand the unique needs and developmental characteristics of the college student population. Our clinic is located within student communities and is easily accessible by walking or biking. Acacia provides convenient hours and easy scheduling for students. We have contracts with the student and faculty/staff major insurance plans to ensure affordable coverage. Acacia works to foster close ties with university organizations and services and provides an additional level of support to our clients as a result of these relationships. We strive to understand and serve the diverse spectrum of students with respect to mental health needs, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, age, disabilities, and other factors. We are committed to the well-being of students and the overall health of colleg/university communities.
