Overview
HALEO Preventive Health Solutions Inc. is a Montreal-based telehealth company, whose mission is to improve health and performance by making treatment for sleep disorders more accessible and effective. Quality sleep is foundational to health and well-being; however its importance is often overlooked by healthcare professionals, employers and individuals alike. Sleep deprivation costs Canadians over $21 billion per year, according to RAND Corporation, and over 3 million Canadians are suffering from chronic insomnia, the most common sleep disorder. HALEO operates a telehealth clinic for insomnia that integrates the use of connected health solutions such as videoconferencing and digital collaboration tools into everyday clinical practice. The result is improved access to treatment, which can be delivered where and when it is convenient for our clients. For employers, HALEO has developed a Healthy Sleep Program to educate and screen employees for sleep disorders, and for those employees at risk, help them find a qualified healthcare professional who can treat their sleep disorder effectively.
