About Us

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

The health and safety of our patients, team members and candidates is very important to us. We continue to provide care for our patients and families, as well as one another, and are therefore still taking applications and filling open positions. Due to the current situation related to the most recent coronavirus (COVID-19), we’re leveraging our digital capabilities to ensure we can continue to recruit top talent at Kindred.

As your application progresses, you may be asked to conduct more interviews over the phone or to use one of our digital tools to help you through your recruitment journey. If so, one of our Talent Acquisition team members will explain the process and be available to answer any questions you might have.

We thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we focus on keeping our patients and fellow team members safe.

At Kindred, we’re dedicated to hope, healing and recovery. Our commitment to the highest quality care is at the heart of what we do every day. Our people deliver expert, supportive care solutions to patients, helping us shape the future of care for an aging America – a future where care is coordinated effectively across all types of settings, and where we can offer clarity and hope to those entrusted to our care.

As the country’s largest specialty hospital company, we care for people recovering from illness or injury. Whether they are receiving care in our hospitals or rehabilitation sites, our clinical care continues to exceed national benchmarks and earn us the respect of a top employer. With our diverse portfolio, we offer exciting careers throughout multiple settings. Find what best fits you!

Our long-term acute care hospitals offer the same in-depth care offered in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. With daily physician oversight, ICU/CCU-level staffing, and specially-trained interdisciplinary teams, we help our patients continue on their journey to wellness. You can bring recovery and healing to your community with our national footprint of more than 60 LTACHs.

Because the patients in our Kindred Hospitals are frequently experiencing multiple illnesses, their stay with us is often measured in weeks rather than days. This allows our team members to get to know our patients and families. Further, clinicians working at a Kindred Hospitals typically get a broader experience than in other settings due to the smaller size of the hospitals and the higher acuity of our patients.

Kindred Rehabilitation Services is one of the largest providers of hospital-based rehabilitation therapy management in the country, offering to care for patients countrywide across different settings within the care continuum. Check out our many setting options below.

Join our talented team at one of our Inpatient Rehab Hospitals. Kindred is one of the nation’s leading operators of Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRFs hospitals) with over 20 joint venture IRFs across a dozen states. We bring proven rehabilitation management and service expertise that benefits our partners as well as the nearly 35,000 patients we see each year.

Or be a part of our dedicated Kindred Hospital Rehabilitation Services (KHRS) team. We partner with more than 300 hospitals nationwide to manage and/or facilitate the rehabilitation therapies within their hospitals. Our KHRS team helps over 160,000 patients recover within these acute rehab units every year.
