Overview

Partners For Quality, Inc.(PFQ), a non-profit organization, provides services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and children with behavioral health challenges. Our Vision is that all people have the opportunity to fully experience all aspects of life regardless of their disability. Our Mission is to support people by providing services that promote choice, personal satisfaction and the realization of their hopes and dreams. PFQ provides administrative oversight to four distinctive entities: Allegheny Children’s Initiative helps children struggling with a wide range of behavioral health challenges like depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders and learning disorders. ACI also helps children whose lives have been impacted by trauma, abuse or neglect. Allegheny Children’s Initiative is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). To learn more about COA, please visit www.COAnet.org. Citizen Care provides residential, learning, employment and retirement services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Agency operates 70 community homes and 4 adult training facilities located in the southwestern suburbs of Pittsburgh. Partners For Quality/Citizen Care is accredited by The Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) and is their longest accredited Agency, now 37 years strong! For info about CQL, visit www.c-q-l.org. Exceptional Adventures provides supervised recreation and travel opportunities for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. One of the largest travel and tour operations of its kind in the U.S., a wide variety of trips, tours and destinations matches the interests with the abilities of travelers. Partners For Quality Foundation exists to advance, promote and support the Mission of the Agency.
