Tacoma Public Schools is one of the largest districts in Washington state serving more than 30,000 children in preschool through grade 12. The district has 35 elementary schools, nine middle schools, five comprehensive high schools and 14 alternative learning sites. We are a district on the rise. Named by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction as the state’s only innovative school district, we share a passion to make a difference in the lives of students.
