Job Overview

The Talcott Center for Child Development in Farmington has immediate openings for full-time and part-time ABA Therapists within our quickly growing Comprehensive Autism Program.Our Comprehensive Autism Program takes a multidisciplinary approach to unlocking each child to their own potential. The ABA program at the Talcott Center for Child Development provides in-home, community and clinic based services. We also have a newly launched Comprehensive Autism Day Program for children ages 2-6, in which clients are immersed daily in a clinic based therapeutic setting with their entire intervention team helping them to flourish.

Duties:

  • Implement individualized treatment plan under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
  • Daily collection and graphing of all required data (DTT, NET, Manding, Behaviors, TA’s, etc.)
  • Prepare program materials
  • Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations
  • Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families
  • Must be able to get weird and silly!!

Preferred Requirements:

  • The candidate must be able to drive to various locations in Hartford County, CT.
  • Previous experience: 1 year or Early Childhood Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s
  • Special Education Paraprofessionals are welcome to apply!

Salary: $16.00 to $22.00 /hour
