- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Psychiatry residency training program.
- BC/BE with the ABMS
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
The University of Minnesota’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to fill an academic track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The position consists of 0.65 clinical FTE in our Interventional Psychiatry Services. The clinical effort will consist of 0.4 in ECT and 0.25 providing outpatient care in the Riverside clinic. The academic effort for this position includes 0.2 FTE leading the clerkship for the Department and 0.15 FTE for education and research..
This is a unique opportunity to combine delivery of care with research on effective outcomes and development of care delivery systems. This position includes exercising creativity in clinical care and clinical programming, and in teaching and supervising outstanding trainees.
