The demand for treatment for behavioral health issues continues to increase across the US. As a result, Mindpath Health is experiencing tremendous growth and expansion and is on target to become a leader in outpatient behavioral health services that blend human connection with science-based care.

The Behavioral Health Outreach Specialist (Houston Market) will partner with the Growth team to help increase mental health access for patients by creating a demand for Mindpath Health mental health services. This position will generate and secure patient referrers, channel partners and create business development opportunities. This individual will develop close relationships with new and existing referral sources and other cross functional teams. The Behavioral Health Outreach Specialist will provide support to external providers for patients needing care placement, improving the customer experience, and differentiating the Mindpath Health brand.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with current and prospective referring practices on the phone, in person, via video via email and in networking settings
  • Guide referring practices through the process of referring a patient to Mindpath Health in a timely manner
  • Prospect, research, receive and qualify incoming leads by assessing the potential referral source’s needs and verifying the opportunity for partnership
  • Build and manage a pipeline from cold calling to trusted referral relationships
  • Follow outreach and follow-up process as outlined in Referral Relationships
  • Generate and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports reflecting sales metrics.
  • Delivers weekly reporting on previous weeks visits, including highlights, outcomes, and plan for follow up strategy
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our services and provider profiles
  • Create and participate in meetings/presentations and online demonstrations of our services
  • Build rapport with referring clinicians and practices through friendly, engaging communication and meetings
  • Collaborate with other team members in referral relationships, lead generation and outreach processes
  • Meet expected goals and objectives monthly, quarterly and year-end
  • Promote company goals and ideals to referrers, channel partners and the market in general

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related subjects preferred
  • Extensive experience performing similar
  • 2+ years utilizing technical tools such as Salesforce, MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Proficient in use of project management, word processing, flowcharting, and database applications
  • Demonstrated experience presenting information in small and large group settings
  • Demonstrated thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success in a lead generation and customer-facing role
  • Experience managing multiple opportunities with strong follow-up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to listen, understand, question, and translate information into a value proposition for the customer
  • Problem solving/troubleshooting experience/skills to assist with resolution
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, multitasking and organization skills
  • Proven team player, with the ability to work independently
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience and be focused on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid Driver’s License
