Job Overview

Seaside Palm Beach, a proud addition to Banyan Treatment Centers, is currently recruiting for full-time Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team in Palm Beach Shores, Florida (Singer Island).

 


Schedules Available:

  • 1st (7a-3:30 pm), 2nd (3 pm-11:30 pm) and 3rd shift (11 pm- 7:30 am); scheduled days would be developed with Management.
  • Flexible availability and ability to work overtime, required.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is an integral part of team! BHT staff spend the majority of their time at work with our clients however interact with the entire Treatment Team as well. He/She assists in coordinating the day to day needs of the facility and clients by monitoring and maintaining head counts, 1:1s, client schedules and activities, and clients whereabouts and behaviors. In this position the BHT would interact with our clients in primary substance abuse and mental health treatment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A passion for helping others
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health is strongly preferred but not required. .
  • Some college is preferred but not required.

 

The ideal Behavioral Health Technician candidate is hard-working, flexible, reliable, and resourceful. He/She is dedicated to providing exceptional quality care and is empathetic to the trials, tribulations, and victories of our clients recovery journey. He/She is detailed orientated especially in monitoring and documenting client behaviors in support of patient safety. He/She demonstrates the ability to deescalate situations.
