Behavioral Health Technician

We are looking for a compassionate, diligent Behavioral Health Technician to join MK Home Premier Healthcare. You will be working in conjunction with therapists and other medical professionals to implement treatment plans for patients with behavior disorders, providing them with the care, support, and supervision they require.

To be successful as a Behavioral Health Technician, you should be an excellent listener with a solid understanding of what it takes to treat or manage behavior disorders. Top candidates will also be sensitive, respectful, and personable when working with our patients.
Responsibilities:

• Carrying out individual treatment plans prescribed by medical professionals.
• Monitoring patients and recording your observations.
• Reporting back on each patient’s progress and concerns.
• Ensuring patients have a safe and supportive environment.
• Diffusing situations in which patients wish to harm themselves or others.
• Providing emotional support to patients.
• Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies.
• Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks.
• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

Requirements: * High school diploma

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Behavioral Health experience preferred
• Fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain card within 90 days of hire required
• CPR and Basic First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire required
• Valid driver’s license without restrictions and a clean 18-month driving record
• Ability to perform tasks with little direct supervision
• Available day, evening, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Behavioral health: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• finger print clearance (Preferred)
