Job Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Full-Time Clinical Team Leader will work out of Helio Health’s our Syracuse Inpatient program. The Clinical Team Leader will oversee a team of Behavioral Healthcare Counselors.

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, all Full-Time Admission Team Leaders may be eligible for a Sign-On incentive of up to $8,000!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees program, counseling staff, and the participants’ needs and progress.
  • Represents the agency to the community.
  • Conducts program administrative review and clinical review.
  • Assures continuing process improvement and staff development.
  • Implements quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assures program record documentation compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes and principles of counseling.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an appropriate program setting.
  • An equivalent alternative combination of training and experience will be considered.
  • Qualified Health Professional status (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in computer software skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
  • The team leader will require a master’s degree and be one of the following QHPs
  • LCSW Social worker: An individual who is either currently licensed clinical social worker (LCSW)-Mental health counselor: An individual who is currently licensed to practice as a mental health counselor issued by the New York State Education Department.
