Community Support Professional III – Intensive – Regional Mobile Crisis (Far Southwest VA)

Job Overview

OVERVIEW:

The Community Support Professional III, provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals diagnosed with behavioral health diagnoses served by the Region III Regional Mobile Crisis Team. Also assists with the development of and staff training in individualized behavior support plans. Works as part of the Regional Mobile Crisis team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.

This position will be based out of the Far Southwest area of Virginia.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Bachelor’s Degree in special education, social work, psychology, or approved human services related field is preferred.
  • Current registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A and/or QMHP-C is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (Virginia, unless otherwise approved by agency) and an acceptable driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
