Job Overview

Alium Health is looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor/ LPC, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/LMFT or Licensed Clinical Social Worker/LCSW to help a rapidly growing, and innovative Family Practice. We believe in a holistic approach to health which includes medical and behavioral health. Our primary patient focus is Women 18-55 years old. A therapist will work alongside our NPs, RDs, Social Workers and fellow therapists to address our patients’ mental health concerns.

Our integrated practice is exciting and different than any other company in Phoenix. Not only is the front office staff supportive and caring, but we also employ social workers who address our patients’ social determinants of health (SDOH). All of our staff establish deep connections with our patients that leads to better outcomes.

JOB DUTIES

  • Evaluate patient needs & develop an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plan as needed; illustrate these changes through regularly updated & well-organized timely documentation
  • Develop appropriate discharge plans for every patient
  • Maintain the required certifications & licenses to practice therapy
  • Be consistently up-to-date and well-versed in the research literature surrounding therapeutic practices
  • Communicate treatment plan with our Social Workers in order to connect the patient with community resources applicable to the patient’s treatment plan
  • Consistently demonstrate sensitive, respectful & compassionate patient care

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited university/college.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in behavioral health, with direct experience in family, group/individual therapy, crisis intervention, trauma and substance abuse.

License:

  • Must possess an independent Arizona State Behavioral Health License as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is Active. Independent license is Required.

Skills

  • When applying, please note in your cover letter any specific training, certifications, or skills (or therapeutic skills) in which you are fluent, e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Trauma-Informed Care, Psycho-dynamic, Substance Abuse, etc. EHR experience preferred.

Preferred

Experience with EMR charting, AthenaNet a plus

Computer literate-Word, Excel, PowerPoint a must

Spanish speaking/writing a plus

Typical work schedule is flexible, Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, weekends as needed

Pay: $72,800.00 – $93,600.00 per year
