Job Overview

CASE MANAGER / COUNSELOR:

Santa Rosa Treatment Program is a well-established outpatient program in Santa Rosa treating Opiate Use Disorder. We are seeking a Case Manager/ Counselor to join our team. This is a full-time position from 5:45 AM TO 2:15 PM Monday through Friday, and includes health insurance options, paid holidays, PTO, plus FULL vision and dental coverage.

Job duties include:

  • Complete the intake process for all new clients admitting to the program, including but not limited to; assessment of current use and appropriateness for the program, review of substance abuse history, creation of individualized treatment plans and education on program policies and procedures.
  • Providing referrals to community agencies and support groups
  • Maintaining charts in accordance with the California Department of Health standards, as well as other city, county, federal, and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities standards
  • Attending weekly staff training’s, areas of focus include: Non-Violent communication, Poly-substance abuse, Dual Diagnosis, Suicide prevention, Mandated Reporting and Communicable disease
  • Work experience should clearly demonstrate Organizational and Time Management skills and ability to communicate with a diverse population

Qualifications

  • Possess or register, obtain and maintain a Counselor Certification as defined by the California Code of Regulations, chapter 8: Certification of Alcohol & Other Drug Counselors.
  • Must be registered prior to employment and working toward the five year allowance of time to obtain certification from an ADP approved certifying organization.
  • One year experience with responsibilities involving drug and alcohol treatment and education in psychology, sociology and/or other closely related fields.
