St. Francis Borgia Regional High School is seeking a full-time counselor for the 2022-2023 school year.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
As a member of the counseling department staff, a counselor is to provide a comprehensive guidance program for students in grades 9-12. The counselor provides activities to meet the needs of their assigned caseload, consults with teachers, staff and parents to enhance their effectiveness in helping students, and provides support to other high school educational programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required (master’s preferred) in counseling or related field; Missouri certification in School Counseling
- At least two years experience in academic counseling or related areas, work experience in a school setting preferred
Compensation will be appropriate based on degree and years of service in education based on our compensation schedule.
