JOB TYPE: Full time or part time. Contract. You make your own work schedule for physical visits or zoom meetings with the clients. You can work at home, in the office or both.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a therapist who is interested in providing individual therapy to mental illness and substance use clients in a private outpatient psychiatric clinic. The practice offers evidence-based, best practice treatments and staffed by a psychiatrist, 3 physician assistants, and 4 licensed professional therapists.

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Has a strong work ethic: being always reliable and responsible, showing genuine care for the clients, and striving to provide high quality care. Showing up to work on time, spending enough time with the clients, and completing the notes on time.

– Strong motivation and eagerness to learn and read. Strives for self improvement.

– Personality: caring, empathetic, friendly; pleasant, easy going, flexible. Able to work with a team. Able to build trust.

– Excellent oral and interpersonal skills: Has active listening skills. Appropriately, clearly and effectively communicate with others. Has a mature and professional manner and non – judgmental and positive attitude.

– Excellent written communications skills.

– Mental stability and stress tolerance: Able to manage the stress in life and stay calm and focus on work. Maintain stable performance under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES will include but are not limited to:

Providing individual therapy. Active participation in conferences and related team based meetings. Training students and new employees if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Has a formal master’s degree in Human Service field required (e.g. LCSW-A, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT-A or LMFT) and will be able to join the private insurance panels. Cognitive behavior therapy skills are required for this position.

Preferences, not required: have one year postgraduate individual therapy experience with solid skills and excellent references.

Pay: $23.00 – $35.00 per hour
