Job Overview
Crosspoint is seeking a Director of Clinical and Community Services. This position has been redesigned to serve our clinical services and community services. If you are looking for a challenging position to help those with mental or developmental disabilities this position is for you. This Director will empower staff to provide the best programs and residential homes for our Persons Served. You will oversee our staff as they provide daily structured programs in the classroom as well as providing guidance for our staff in our residential homes. You will oversee our job coaches as they go out into the community with our Persons Served. This position will work with the team to develop strategies for building independence and life skills for the Persons Served.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing leadership to staff through planning, directing and overseeing services, of related program policies, budgets, systems and procedures in order to ensure the development, growth and quality of Crosspoint’s Community Services.
- Assists the Vice President of Clinical Services with both short-term and long-term strategic planning.
Job Requirements
- Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field or MSN.
- Requires the ability to maintain both persons served and business confidentiality
- Requires extensive knowledge of developmental disabilities, mental illness and rehabilitation.
- Requires sound management and supervisory skills and the ability to think and operate at a broad conceptual level as well as at a detailed level with minimum supervision.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Familiar with continuous quality improvement principles
- Ability to mobilize strengths of individuals/families.
- Knowledge of best practices/evidence based and empirically supported treatments.
Desired Experience:
- 2 or more years progressively responsible experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.
