Role: Executive Medical Affairs Director – Neurology

Meet Recruitment is partnering with one of our TOP pharmaceutical clients on a key leadership role for their medical affairs group. This team is working on one of the most successful molecules in the world and looking for another neurologist to join them.
This Executive Medical Director will join them in developing and strategizing all medical affairs activities. This person will lead a team of 3 and be a highly visible cross-functional leader in the organization. With a number of molecules in the neurology pipeline, this person will have excellent opportunity to grow with this business.
The ideal candidate needs to a physician, and preferably board certified neurologist.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
- MD or equivalent degree is required
- Background in neurology, movement disorders or CNS is required.
- Must HAVE 8+ years of experience working in pharmaceutical or biotech drug development
- Experience with medical affairs activities including but not limited to, KOL engagement, congress planning, content development, and global medical strategy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional responsibilities including, but not limited, to aid addressing complex problems, and supporting medical and clinical needs
- Knowledge of drug launch activities, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials and experience in development strategy and the design of drug launch
- Ability to travel up to 25%
