  • 198+ inpatient psychiatry beds. (Adult, 60 pediatric and 10 flex young adult)

  • Full Time, Employed position
  • Inpatient setting with Adult caseload
  • Average of 11 patients per day
  • Reasonable call requirement
  • Supervision of MSU Medical Students, Residents and APPs if mutually agreed upon
  • Michigan State University Faculty Appointment Options
  • Duties may include clinical admission evaluations, subsequent cares, and discharges from the hospital unit with corresponding and timely documentation.
  • Support for Immigration, H1B VISA

Minimum Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Current State of Michigan licensing including medical license and controlled substance license (or eligibility to obtain licenses in short order).
  • Board certified in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or board eligible within 5 years of training completion and intent to complete board certification.
  • Completion of an accredited four-year psychiatric residency program
