We are hiring for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA.

  • Status: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) must have the following qualifications:

  • Clinical Social Workers shall have a Master’s or Doctorate Degree from a Council Social Worker Education (CSWE) Accredited School.
  • must possess a Clinical Social Worker license from U.S. jurisdiction that
    allows for the independent practice of Clinical Services. The license must be one granted by the recognized licensing agency of a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the Virgin Islands.
  • All contract service providers shall possess and maintain current course
    completion documentation for basic life support (BLS) through an American Heart Association.
  • A minimum of two (2) years within the past five (5) years in the practice of clinical social
    work, preferably in a government setting such as a DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF and providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services. The contractor shall ensure that the contract service provider has sufficient training and experience to effectively provide social worker services for service members and family members. The contractor will be trained in the assessment/evaluation and treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder prior to hire.
    Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of degree or license requirements.

 

Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship, and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
