Job Overview

2nd Chance Treatment Center is an outpatient psychiatric group that offers a full spectrum of evidence-based treatments for mental health and substance use disorders. Founded in 2014, 2nd Chance Treatment Center was founded with the goal to provide high quality treatment for all psychiatric, addiction, and dual diagnosis disorders. The 2nd Chance team consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and medical staff highly skilled and trained in treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. Providing affordable and easily accessible mental health care has and will always remain our goal. We have multiple locations in the Phoenix metro area and growing.
2nd Chance is looking for a full time/part time counselor specializing in Substance Abuse with adults. Counselor is responsible for clinical assessment of client, and create/manage treatment plans. Position provides individual and group treatment.

A bachelor’s degree in the behavioral health field and a combination of education and full-time relevant experience in a behavioral health setting totaling four years is preferred.

Preferred: A master’s degree in the behavioral health field

Preferred: Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona at the Associate, LISAC or Independent level.

Experience working in an ACT role strongly preferred
