GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Flow House is home to a family of licensed psychotherapists who work holistically – incorporating the body-mind-spirt along with evidence-based practices – into our treatment philosophy. In addition to traditional talk therapy, we are trained in depth, trauma, spiritual, and embodiment approaches. We tend to use an active approach with clients, encouraging their growth and evolution.

CLINICAL COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a part-time position, around 10 – 15 hours a week. The work can be done remotely, on your own schedule but a bit of daily work Monday – Friday is requested. Preference is for someone who lives locally (Westside Los Angeles) so that we have the option to meet in person for laughs and camaraderie.

  • You are an extremely important and valued part of our team! You will be the first point of contact for new clients, the main contact for our therapists and the right-hand to our founder.
  • This is a very people-centered job, so you’ll get to interact about real life and real issues on an everyday basis. No phony BS here!
  • You will use your empathy, active listening and people skills to connect with new clients to help them feel at ease and comfortable in the intake process.
  • You will get to know the therapists – their interests & specialties, their schedule of availability, their personalities – and match clients with best therapist for their needs.
  • Daily communication with therapists and daily billing of clients.
  • Support founder with daily tasks of running a business, such as anticipating needs, email correspondence, database management, sending & collecting intake paperwork, marketing support, keeping big picture view of all the balls that are in air and which ones need attention, being eyes & ears, spreading positive energy & good cheer amongst staff
  • Track the flow of new clients – from first inquiry call to attending first session
  • Check end of month payroll figures and send monthly insurance statements to clients who request them
  • Train new therapists how to use our electronic systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in an administrative role.
  • Interest & experience working or volunteering in mental health, counseling. A student in this field would be ideal!
  • Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Tech Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, Quality Focus
  • Ability to use electronic / digital services and applications for prolonged periods of time.
  • Social media savviness not a bad thing

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
