Lifeways is currently seeking one, full-time, Mental Health Specialist to join the team at our outpatient office, located in Ontario, OR.

In accordance with Oregon Administrative Rule Chapter 333 Division 19 and federal healthcare best practices, Lifeways is mandating that all employees will have received the COVID-19 Vaccine or have a valid religious or medical exemption . Minimum Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or closely related field.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Valid driver’s license. Appropriate state licensure. Mental Health Specialist working with the chemically dependent must hold appropriate CADC licensure or receive the credential/license within 36-months of application.
- Knowledge of regulations and laws governing mental health, behavioral, and addiction services, ethics, confidentiality, privacy, and other related areas.
- Must pass a drug test and criminal background check
- Hazardous Conditions : Risk of verbal and physical threats from clients. Use of keyboard and computer monitor (repetitive hand motions and potential eye strain). Possible exposure to airborne pathogens.
- Working Conditions : Telehealth/Remote Home Office, In office as needed.
- Equipment / Materials Used : Common office machines including computer, printer, calculator, telephone equipment, tele-health system, copier, scanner, and facsimile.
