Job Overview

Clinical Consultants is seeking a full-time Therapist/Counselor to join our team for outpatient work in a great environment at our Ogden location. Candidate should be licensed, with experience in substance use or mental health therapy.

Our treatment team includes licensed professionals that are dedicated to improving our client’s lives through comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based care. We combat stigma surrounding mental health, substance use, family and domestic violence to create a supportive environment for our clients in treatment and out in our community. We have been advocates for our clients and the recovery community that we’ve helped create over the last 25 years. Our agency provides trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy.

Job Description

Populations served are typically adults, juveniles, and families in need of substance use and mental health (including domestic violence) services. We offer telehealth services to help keep our team and community safe in light of the current pandemic.

Primary responsibilities include providing evidence based: Evaluations, individual therapy, group therapy, couples/family therapy, and other clinical therapy work as needed. Standard clinical documentation such as: writing intake assessments, formulating treatment plans, and session documentation in an accurate and timely manner. We utilize an electronic medical record system; this requires proficiency in computer-related skills and adaptability to learn new software. Applicants should have experience in active listening, problem solving, critical thinking, decision making skills, and excellent time management.

We prefer a fully licensed Masters clinician (LCSW, CMHC, MFT) due to community and agency needs. We will underfill the position with someone needing to complete their hours and offer quality Supervision to those in need.

Preference for candidates currently certified to conduct domestic violence therapy in Utah or willing to be trained to work with DV population (Offenders/Survivors). Preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish, however this is not a requirement.

All full-time therapists are required to work at least two evenings each week (until 9pm). We will soon be expanding business hours to include Saturday and looking for an applicant that is willing to work on some Saturdays.

Compensation

Market competitive and negotiable. Pay will vary based on: licensure level, experience and relevant certifications held.

Minimum Qualifications and Required Experience

Fully licensed as an LCSW, CMHC, MFT in Utah, or those working towards full licensure, CSW, ACMHC, AMFT.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
