Job Overview

MUST Have Your Associate Number In Hand AND have LESS than 700-800 logged clinical hours.

– THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION Minimum of 30 to 36 hrs a week

– It is 90% REMOTE with 1 Full Day Per Week In Office (Thursday or Fridays). Currently In office session are ONLY for clients who have been vaccinated.

  • Looking for someone who is FLEXIBLE, RELIABLE,PROFESSIONAL, OUT GOING, HAS A PASSION FOR HELPING and HIGHLY MOTIVATED. Would also like to find an associate who loves to laugh and wants to join an awesome fun team.

Build your own marriage and family therapy practice while you are accruing hours! You will provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children and families in a Private Practice setting. You will receive weekly individual and group supervision and guidance when needed. After you earn your license, you will leave the clinic and take your patients with you to form the foundation of your own practice!

$27 per 50 min session – This includes paid Individual and Group Supervision as well as guidance WHEN EVER YOU NEED IT! : )

– Currently there are no medical benefits

Treatment Planning

Demonstrates awareness of principles of systems theory & an understanding of a variety of theoretical models and/or specialties (art therapy, etc.)
Identifies stages of treatment and appropriate short-term and long-term treatment goals, objectives and plan for each stage and formulates how to reach goals.
Recognizes the need for referral for adjunctive services and identifies appropriate referrals.
Provide appropriate treatment to clients

Legal Responsibilities

Knowledge of and uses appropriate laws and codes to guide practice and make decisions
Informs clients of parameters of confidentiality and privilege, their limitations, and conditions of mandated reporting
Demonstrates knowledge of legal issues relevant to this counseling setting
Adheres to legal statutes related to this counseling setting
Recognizes and appropriately manages mandated reporting requirements
Obtains clients (or legal guardians) authorization for release to disclose or obtain confidential information
Maintains security of client therapy records

Ethical Responsibilities

Knowledge of and uses appropriate ethical codes to guide practice and make decisions
Demonstrates knowledge of ethical issues arising in this counseling setting
Maintains appropriate therapeutic boundaries
Identifies personal reactions/countertransference issues that could interfere with the therapeutic process
Identifies personal limitations that require outside consultation

Utilizing Supervision

Seeks supervision when needed, comes prepared for supervision sessions, openly shares concerns and ideas with supervisor
Demonstrates openness to feedback, uses supervisory suggestions to make improvements
Seeks supervision when faced with legal or ethical dilemmas in practice
Evaluates his/her own performance including transference and countertransference
Raises questions, reports problems
Recognizes issues outside competence areas and consults and seeks supervision when appropriate (outside of regularly scheduled supervision meetings)
Keeps appropriate case notes & files are up to date
Maintains timely and orderly paperwork

Termination of Clients when Appropriate

Demonstrates ability to terminate appropriately
Develops a plan for termination with client to provide a transition from treatment
Uses referral sources appropriately
Documents termination satisfactorily
Complies with agency policy regarding termination

Other

Regular attendance, dependability and, punctuality in conformance with the standards are essential to the successful performance of this position
Performs other duties as assigned

Currently, only patients who are vaccinated may be seen in office. All other patients are seen via zoom. Therapist and patient sit at a safe distance apart during treatment.

Work Location: One location

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

You should have some type of an office space at home(ex: no closets, beds, toys etc. in the back ground) You also must be willing to present in professional attire. Your initial interview will be from your office like setting. Is this something you have? (only back ground where clients can see needs to look professional.)
  • You must have less than 700-800 hours?
