ADHD & Autism Psychological Services and Advocacy (AAPSA) is seeking dedicated and career-minded individuals who are passionate about the mental health field and interested in having a positive impact on children and families living with neurodevelopmental disorders. Our team of psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and behavior analysts is collaborative, supportive, and committed to providing the highest quality care to children and families throughout Upstate New York. AAPSA is a collaborative, family-oriented, behavioral health agency that boasts a professional atmosphere and a positive work environment. We have an incredibly professional, encouraging, and supportive team with no drama! We meet on a weekly basis to share resources and ideas, and receive valuable clinical training in the areas of cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches

to the assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders on an ongoing basis. Therapists have the opportunity to advance within the agency and engage in both the assessment and treatment of patients! AAPSA is dedicated to providing a fulfilling environment where staff are rewarded based on their merits. As AAPSA grows, our staff have the opportunity to grow with us and advance in positions related to treatment, diagnostics, supervision, and administration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct treatment with children and adults including:
  • parent education and skills building sessions
  • individual CBT sessions
  • group-based CBT sessions
  • treatment plans & sessions notes
