Abbe Center for Community Mental Health, is a subsidiary of AbbeHealth Services located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Vinton and Manchester.

Responsibilities
Provides direct services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, person/family-centered treatment planning. Provides continuity of care in collaboration with other professionals. Makes referrals based on screening protocols and assessed needs of clients. Takes responsibility for emergency phone calls/walk-ins as assigned. Performs after hour, emergency on-call duties. Complies with quality improvement and Corporate Compliance processes, completes required documentation and record keeping in a timely manner. Participates in community consultation and education opportunities.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and professional licensure in Iowa. Independent level of licensure – LISW preferred. Dual certification to work with mental health and substance abuse a plus. Must pass records and driving checks, pre-employment drug screen and have a valid Iowa driver’s license.
