Job Overview
Dual Diagnosis Trauma focused treatment center located in Woodland Hills, California. We are currently in search of a part time and a full time clinician at our RTC/PHP/IOP programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide evidence-based treatment modalities that effectively produce change.
- Ability to quickly develop trust and rapport.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of clients.
- Respond to urgent requests or clinical crisis in an ethical and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client information, service delivery, treatment goals, progress notes, etc. Document services according to ethical standards/Joint Commission/ DHCS/ and insurance and complete all the necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and DHCS standards is highly appreciated.
- Supervision experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must possess a Masters degree in Psychology/Social Work or PSyD/PhD.
- Licensure required.
- Certification or training in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Brainspotting, EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, Somatic Experiencing is a plus.
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently, and communicate effectively.
- Computer literate; able to use computerized database system for client file management.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends should there be a necessity.
- Previous experience working in the recovery field is a plus.
- Must have experience running groups.
- Experience with KIPU is a plus
