Position Description:

 

Wasatch Crest is looking for a fully licensed Primary Therapist (LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT) to work in our residential adult substance abuse treatment center.

 

The Primary Therapist is an integral part of the Wasatch Crest clinical team responsible for client care, hospitality, and success. This position serves as the main point of contact for assigned clients, families, and insurance providers. The position is responsible for individual client care services, and related administrative/documentation duties.

A Primary Therapist is responsible for individual sessions, group sessions, assessments, clinical documentation, and curriculum development. We love incorporating new ideas and value input from our entire team.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Clinical Services:
    • Deliver assigned clinical services.
    • Ensure clients receive all individual therapy sessions as assigned.
    • Develop quality group curriculum and conduct assigned groups in a timely/effective manner. Ensure assigned groups are covered in absence.
    • Coordinate care with all members of client treatment team inside/outside company. Document care coordination.
    • Coordinate and deliver family programming, client/family therapy and related services.
    • Communicate effectively to coordinate client care and aftercare planning.
  • Compliance/Documentation/Other:
    • Complete all administrative and clinical documentation in a timely/accurate manner.
  • Other:
    • Participate in weekly clinical case staffing meeting.
    • Assist in developing and leading employee trainings as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

 

Education/Experience:

  • Master’s Degree or higher and is fully licensed to work in the state of Utah. (LCSW, CHMC, LMFT, or PsyD)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a residential or outpatient program, and substance abuse, mental health and/or trauma treatment.
  • Must pass random drug screening tests, and TB test.
  • Proficient current computer, small office management, and organization skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including use of tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends, as needed.

 

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Required license or certification: Master’s Degree or higher, (LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT), Fully licensed to work in the State of Utah

Starting Pay: $60,000 – $75,000, depending on experience
