Providence is calling a Program Coordinator Behavioral Health – Bh Operations (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Portland Medical Center Portland in Portland, OR. This is a hybrid opportunity to work 50% remotely, 50% based at Providence Portland Medical Center, supporting our Psychology Department 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.

We are seeking a Program Coordinator Behavioral Health – Bh Operations that will fill a key role in support of the OR Region Behavioral Health (BH) services and projects. Schedules and coordinates BH related meetings to ensure a smooth flow of services, operations and governance. Provides project support to Leadership and manages small projects. This position requires critical thinking and priority setting to assist in the coordination of BH related projects and discrete tasks. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of BH Program Administration on regional communications.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinates BH related meetings, including agendas, minutes, follow up and SharePoint site maintenance
  • Manage smaller scaled projects
  • Collect, collates, and formats outcome data and other related pieces of data to support the need of the BH support team and BH Leadership team
  • Coordinate multiple complex projects on the BH project portfolio
  • Support the Manager of BH Program Administration in regional communication efforts internal and external to the BH program

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree -OR- equivalent education/experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in project management, data reporting, healthcare administration, or a clinical field
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including listening and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Able to interact professionally and comfortably with all levels of the organization
  • Able to work well in a team environment, with sound problem solving skills
  • Able to learn new skills and drive changes in a positive spirit of cooperation and collaboration
  • Able to organize and manage multiple concurrent projects
  • High degree of customer sensitivity, high degree of attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency with office computer tools (e.g. Power Point, Word, Excel)

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

  • Project Management Professional designation (PMI) Certification
  • Experience working in behavioral health, hospital system, or matrixed organization
  • Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles
  • Expertise with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles
