Job Overview
As the Program Manager I, working under limited supervision, you will direct/supervise administrative staff and teams to support the leadership, guidance, and technical training for staff to fulfill the functions of the program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures program design is followed within FEMA/SAMSHA and SCDMH guidelines and expectations.
- Provides daily, weekly and as requested reports/presentations on program status and deliverables.
- Ensures counselors are aware of all the disaster related informational resources that are available to the community.
- Have knowledge and experience with Zoom platform and other medias for community forums, education, and public information to ensure counselors engaging the public telephonically or via outreach in a safe and professional manner to provide information, referral and basic disaster counseling.
- Monitors compliance with the standards set forth by FEMA/SAMSHA to include but not limited to attending meetings, converting data, and completing reports requested by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and the SC Hopes Program.
- Have knowledge and experience with SharePoint program, excel, word, etc.to perform job tasks.
- Establishes with supervisors guidelines, goals, and plans that address the safety, productivity, efficiency, and daily activities/schedules of the counselors.
- Monitors the activities and performance level of the counselors.
- Ensures time and attendance of counselors.
- Submits required daily and weekly reports to management for program evaluation based on data analysis to report out and actions taken to improve program design.
- Actively engages via telephonic, Zoom, and other messaging forums in identifying local contacts, residents, and agencies with whom the counselors may partner and build a productive network. In-State Travel Required.
State Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.
Agency Requirements: A master’s degree and relevant program experience.
