University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UMSRH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Dorchester, Maryland, is looking for a PRN BE/BC Psychiatrist to join a well-established practice.

Job Specifics:

  • Inpatient rounding at UM Shore Medical Center at Dorchester and consultations at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton
  • 100% clinical
  • Call: 4 week nights a month and 1 weekend a month
  • Emergency department and hospital consult coverage
  • 12 bed inpatient unit
  • Supervision of a Nurse Practitioner, who cover the MH and Addictions Intensive Outpatient Programs
  • Small team of dedicated providers, opportunity for leadership role

What You Need to Be Successful:

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required
  • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
  • Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
  • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
  • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
