Virginia Commonwealth University, Department of Psychiatry is recruiting for an ambulatory Psychiatrist position
The Clinical Services Will Include
- Psychopharmacology and psychotherapy services in our outpatient clinic. The position will be responsible for clinical care as well as teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Our ambulatory clinic sees a diverse group of patients and works collaboratively with other hospital Departments and community organizations. This position will primarily work at our new ambulatory clinic on the third floor of the Jackson Center, which provides updated space, a patient-centric environment, and ample, convenient parking.
- Coverage on the inpatient unit during scheduled weekends and scheduled attending vacations.
Applicants should be a Virginia licensed or eligible, BC/BE psychiatrist with DEA licensure. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so.

VCU is a large urban university with robust health science campus and 750-bed university hospital.
