  • Schedule: Full-time (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm)
  • Pay: $95,000 (Fully-licensed)
  • Location: Salt Lake City, UT

The Psychologist Role and How You WILL Make a Difference

The Psychologist evaluates children and adults from the community to better identify needs and diagnoses to improve the individual’s connections to necessary services. Evaluation opportunities are broad, including disability, parenting, cognitive ability, autism, personality, psychopathology, and neuropsychological screening. Job responsibilities include:

  • Interview, diagnose, and provide written reports of evaluations of adults and children regarding disability, parenting, and readiness to return to work as contracted by community partners
  • Develop and conduct a case-specific psychological evaluation with a written report for clients referred by treating clinicians of Valley Behavioral Health to improve diagnostic clarity and recommendations for services
  • Use provided psychological assessment tools
  • Comply with federal, state, local, and clinical program and facility standards
  • Travel and licensure in Idaho may be required in the future.

Who We’d Love to Join Our Team

For this role, we are really looking for someone who is passionate about helping underserved populations, detail-oriented and organized, and willing to innovate when needed. Additionally:

  • Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
  • Licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Utah
  • Two years of experience as a licensed Psychologist (Preferred)
  • Experience providing mental health assessments and testing to both children and adults
  • Experience administering a wide range of psychological tests (Preferred
