AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital
 Hoffman Estates provides evidence-based behavioral health care for patients/ families when they require more intensive treatments.
Our facility is one of the largest behavioral health hospitals in the country and offers specialized services for mental health and substance abuse problems

Schedule:
Full-time, Days and some Evening hours, Monday-Friday

Location:
 Salt Creek Therapy, Westmont, IL

What You Will Do:

Provide therapeutic psychological counseling.
  • Assess a patient’s psychological status and provide appropriate interventions and treatments.
  • Collaborate with nursing and ancillary service to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patient.
  • Refer patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated.
  • Provide psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary team.
  • Act as resource to other disciplines.
  • Communicate complex/sensitive information to patients and medical team.
  • Administer and interpret psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders and differentiating between organic and functional cases of behavior disorders.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist required.
Education:
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.

Additional Preferences:

Addiction, substance abuse, or chemical dependency experience preferred
Licensure: LCPC, LCSW, PhD or PsyD
