Full Job Description

Summary:

Provides testing, assessment, and treatment of patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders at CeDAR Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation.

 


Work Schedule:
 Full Time Days

 


Responsibilities:

  • Assesses a patient’s psychological status and provides appropriate interventions and treatments for substance use disorders and co-occurring treatment.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patients. Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluation as indicated.
  • Provides psychological expertise and education to a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Acts as resource to other disciplines on patient problems related to substance use, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and behavior modification.
  • Develops and provides educational resources to the community that may include public speaking events, news releases and other forms of publications.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.·

Requirements::

  • Minimum Required Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Psychologist.

 

The pay range for this position is: $38.72 – $58.08 / hour. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
