Thrive Autism Collaborative is a multi-disciplinary group of autism professionals who, in addition to providing services individually, also consult together as a team so families can benefit from the breadth of experience and expertise they have to offer.

The group provides intervention to children and adults with autism and related disorders from 12 months through the age-span. One focus is on evidence-based, naturalistic, and play-based interventions for young children with autism. We also provide services to young adults and children who would benefit from a multi-faceted approach and behavior analytic services. We primarily serve individuals in the metro Denver area, but we also consult with clients across the nation.

1. Integrating behavior analytic principles and knowledge of development and autism, in the context of family and community systems, to create the highest quality interventions that allow each individual to thrive.

3. Respecting the knowledge and expertise of caregivers and community partners, the desires of each individual, and the value of reciprocal relationships.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate professional in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and/or Special Education as a full-time interventionist to provide ABA therapy for clients from birth-adult in a variety of settings (clinic, home, school, community and via telehealth).

Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide 1:1 therapy to young children, early and older elementary school-aged students in a variety of settings including the clinic, office, home, community, and via telehealth, focusing on instruction in the naturalistic environment
  • Keep children engaged in motivating, naturalistic, intensive therapy throughout the treatment session
  • Collect data daily during all treatment sessions
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and respond appropriately to all challenging behaviors
  • Monitor student progress and collaborate with lead Board Certified Behavior Analyst to make modifications to instruction, programming, or behavior plans
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide uniform, high-quality treatment
  • Attend monthly team meetings for all clients
  • Hours of therapy may range between 8 am-7 pm

Qualifications
What We Need:

  • 2+ years working with children with disabilities providing either ABA therapy or special education services as a teaching assistant, therapist or teacher
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, communication disorders, special education, behavior analysis or a related field
  • Willingness to learn new therapeutic skills, focusing on naturalistic intervention in typical settings
  • A love of learning and teaching, and a desire to improve your practice
  • Physically able to perform job responsibilities (active movement, lifting up to 40 lbs.)
  • Mode of reliable transportation

Our Preferred Experience:

  • Current RBT Certification
  • 2+ years implementing ABA therapy with significant experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Natural Environment Training (NET), Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) or Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) therapy
  • Some Master’s coursework in Early Childhood Special Education or Applied Behavior Analysis
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, communication disorders, special education, behavior analysis or a related field
