Glacier Health and Development Center offers outpatient counseling, coaching, and program development support to a diverse population, as well as psychological research for the improvement of mental health services nationally and abroad. We want to serve clients who haven’t otherwise been able to find the right fit for therapy, who don’t fit the mold of other practices, who may have barriers to getting to an office for therapy, and who might be looking to avoid the stigma associated with receiving therapy.

Job Summary:

The service provider will give therapy in person or by using a HIPAA compliant service platform in 45 and 60 minute sessions. Full-time employees can expect to carry between 30 and 35 client hours per week. Glacier will support full-time and part-time workers in building a caseload that is manageable and workers will be encouraged to maintain an appropriate work life balance while providing effective and efficient counseling.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide therapy in person for 45-60 minute blocks
  • Complete Assessments and Evaluations
  • Complete Treatment Plans and Tracking Documents for Progress
  • Complete Progress Notes on a Daily Basis

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be an approved resident or independently licensed in the state of Virginia
  • Must have up to date LinkedIn link submitted with application
  • Must be open to completing a preliminary virtual interview
  • Must have experience working with diverse populations
  • Must have high-speed internet access for work from home
  • Must have HIPAA protected space to use for virtual sessions
  • Must be comfortable working remotely and seeing clients via telehealth
  • Bust be able to commute into work
  • Must be able to pass all background checks that are standard for mental health service providers

Pay: $52,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
