Job Overview

Up to $1500 Bonus

  • $500 Hiring Bonus (full-time employees, paid within first full pay period).
  • $1000 Stay Bonus (eligible employees in good standing after 60 days of successful full-time employment within Residential Coordinator position)

Woodfords Family Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate team-player who is prepared to step into a Residential Coordinator position of our residence in Biddeford.

  • A passion for supporting adults with disabilities is necessary.
  • Communication skills, the ability to serve as a mentor and role-model, and the willingness to lead a team are all key to the Residential Coordinator role.


Schedule:

  • Residential Coordinators work full-time
  • Monday through Friday day-time hours, with occasional evening and weekend shifts
  • Combination of administrative and direct care time
  • On-call position for assigned residence


Pay/Compensation:

  • Residential Coordinators earn $20.00 to $22.00 hourly

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience in the field as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Behavioral Health Professional (BHP), or Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT).
  • One (1) year of experience with supervisory tasks
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in related fields
  • CRMA certification required, and either Direct Support Professional (DSP), Behavioral Health Professional (BHP), or MHRT certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and a reliable form of transportation.
  • This position is considered a Health Care Provider position by the State of Maine. Health Care Providers are required by the State of Maine to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, or evidence of vaccination in-process required for hire.


Residential Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Role model high-quality service delivery at all times.
  • Oversight of consumer’s electronic health records.
  • Assist in: daily supervision of DSP’s for implementation of individual service plans, handling personnel issue, scheduling of DSP’s, ensuring training certifications are maintained, and performance evaluation.
  • Assist in coordinating information and services with internal and external support providers to include: family, guardians, community case managers, government oversight agencies, and community support providers.
  • Assist in the implementation of care and oversight of that care in accordance with Regulations Governing the Licensing/Functioning of Assisted Living Housing Programs policy/procedures, laws, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure the proper implementation for the overall medication administration, medical care, and service coordination as needed.
  • Ability to step in to provide direct care support as needed.
  • Work with the Program Director and Assistant Director to create and maintain a high quality program for consumers.
