FULL-TIME, SCHOOL-BASED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST OPPORTUNITY

(PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED TREATMENT)

SOUTH BEND/RAYMOND AND ILWACO/LONG BEACH, WASHINGTON

(SERVICING PACIFIC COUNTY AREA)

Who we are:

Community Integrated Health Services (CIHS) is a Washington State-based behavioral health organization offering quality care to all communities we serve. Our team of dedicated, experienced professionals offer a variety of behavioral health services to people of all ages.

 

Supplemental Information
Hourly Range– $26.26 – $37.51 Hourly ($54,631 – $78,020 annually) (DOE)

  • $2,500 Sign-on Incentive.
  • Relocation Assistance.
  • MHP career ladder, adding additional salary based on experience and licensure.

  • Up to $1000 per year Training and Education Reimbursement for trainings in related areas
  • Weekly supervision with your Clinical Supervisor
  • Clinical Supervision for Licensure available upon request
Qualifications

Who should apply?

  • Mental Health Professionals with a Master’s Degree in counseling, social services or closely related field and two (2) years of experience providing direct service to those with mentally illness.
  • High energy, creative individuals who have a passion for working with Youth and Families
  • Positive, solutions oriented clinicians
  • Therapists skilled at engaging and motivating youth to achieve participation in services
  • Those with a preference of a fixed 8-5 Monday through Friday facility-based position working in schools.
  • Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations as needed
  • Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record
  • Professional licensure as a LMHC/A, LMFT/A, or LICSW/A preferred.

Some of what you will do:

  • Provide intensive support and services to assist youth and families in achieving wellness and safety, and to strengthen communities.
  • Identify potential health problems through skilled assessment of participants’ physical and mental status, daily living skills, coping patterns, strengths and supports.
  • Deliver effective care coordination services to youth and families through a high degree of collaboration with natural supports and community services.
  • Utilize evidence based treatment plans in school and home settings. This position provides outpatient therapy and the oversight of clinical services to children, youth, and their families with complex behavioral health needs.
  • Submits referrals to community resources as needed using the school facility referral procedures.
  • Ensure diverse youth and family engagement.
