Position Summary:

Responsible for providing counseling and rehabilitative therapy services to psychiatric and substance abuse patients. Completes comprehensive psychiatric assessments,develops and implements treatment plans and monitors patients progress.

Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments, diagnostic formulations, and treatment (individual, family, and group psychotherapy) for patients in the MISA (Mental Illness and Substance Abuse) Program of Community Psychiatry. Provides crisis intervention when appropriate, maintains clinical documentation in electronic record, and obtains insurance authorizations for services. Works in conjunction with CPP psychiatrists to integrate care. Implements routine outcomes measures for feedback informed care.



Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field


Work Experience:

6 months of related experience required



Current licensure in Maryland as a Licensed Graduate (LGPC) or equivalent license required. Certification in CPR is required (can be completed during first three months of employment).



Full Time, Day Shift (40 hours)

8:30 am – 5:00 pm
