Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a Joint Commissioned accredited hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital offering acute care for adults. Our specific units include voluntary and involuntary status patients, and higher psychiatric acute care.
Wellfound is looking caring and passionate Social Workers to join our Inpatient team team. This is full time days with possible rotating weekends.
The Social Worker performs work at an advanced, specialized, and independent level. Provides intensive casework with individual, family and marital therapy. Skilled in de-escalation and brief solution -focused therapy. Provides group therapy and diagnostic evaluations and interprets complex psychosocial factors to a variety of psychiatric and addition patients. Relates accepted theories of psychiatry/psychology to practice situations. Requires instruction only in highly complex, new or specialized methods or procedures.

What We Require:
- Master’s degree in Behavioral Science field
- Current Licensed as Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSAW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA)
- Two (2) years experience in psychiatric/mental health setting preferred
- Basic Life Support through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
