Position Overview
Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans, group therapy, individual therapy, discharge and aftercare planning. Social Workers also participate in case management and clinical team case review process to ensure improved and long term plans for enhanced functioning socially, vocationally and personally in keeping with the patient treatment recovery plan.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Master’s of Social Work from accredited college/university
Preferred:
Previous experience in a clinical setting requiring knowledge of DSM V and CPI crisis intervention training.
Previous experience in a mental health setting for adult and/or geriatric populations
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
NYS Licensed Master Social Work
Preferred:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker with R privilege
