Sign-On Bonus Available $5,000 for full time; $2,500 for part time

Schedule: Full & Part Time Nights; Part Time Day; rotating weekends and holiday requirement

This Behavioral Health Technician is eligible for $2,500.00 (part time), $5,000.00 (full time) sign-on bonus, provided you successfully complete all pre-employment requirements subject to the terms and conditions of the offer. Former associates of six months are not eligible.

What You Will Do:
Provide direct behavioral health patient care.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
- Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
- Report any changes in condition and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) preferred.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Illinois Department of Public Health preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate’s degree, or Technical degree required.
