South Community is hiring a Therapist for the L.I.F.E Program. This rewarding job involves providing community-based family therapy to adolescents involved in the Juvenile Court System, who have either a Mental Health or Substance Abuse Disorder, utilizing Functional Family Therapy (FFT). This is an internationally recognized evidence-based model. The goal of the program is to get children out of the Court System and keep them out by empowering them and their families to make positive changes.
Family based counseling appeals to passionate & talented clinicians that thrive in a fast-paced setting and have the ability to be flexible and embrace the Functional Family Therapy model to improve the clients’ success and overall quality of life. Families who complete this program have children who are 65% less likely to commit another crime and 45% less likely to be placed out of the home.
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mental health, social work or related field and current Ohio license from Ohio CSWMFT Board, Independent Licensure preferred. Access to an operational vehicle, automobile insurance ($100,000/$300,000 liability coverage) and a valid driver’s license is required. Willing to occasionally commute to the main office in Moraine, Ohio. Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test. Must maintain a current NPI number. Eligible for a sign on and retention bonus.
