Description:
Private practice is looking to grow and is hiring Connecticut State Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) to join our team and work as independent contractors with clients to change damaging behaviors or manage challenges in their lives. Conditions clinical social workers will treat include anxiety, depression, ADHD, Trauma, addiction, and treat specific populations, such as military personnel, adults, couples, children aged 6-12 and teens 13 and up, seniors , and families.

What you will do:
Clinical social worker job responsibilities will include:

  • Meet with client and complete an in-takes
  • Meeting with clients to assess their histories, conditions, and needs
  • Provide weekly compassionate care to individuals, families, couples, and group therapy
  • Timely creation and update of treatment plans
  • You will use treatment methods such as CBT, DBT, ASD, SUD-specific therapy, and other psychotherapeutic techniques to help clients.
  • Collaborating with other professionals in the community connected to the clients
  • Monitoring clients’ responses to treatment
  • Administrative and record-keeping duties such as timely progress notes and calendar upkeep
  • Counseling individuals and families going through difficult situations such as illness, divorce, unemployment, or substance abuse.
Please note: Your responsibilities might change from time to time depending on client needs; as such, this is not an exhaustive list of what you will do.

Requirements:
  • Connecticut, LCSW.
  • Specialty in working with children, families, adults, couples, and groups — we are flexible in helping you find your comfort zone in the area of therapeutic focus.
  • Bilingual – highly desired.

  • W-2 independent contractor, full-time 35-40hrs or 40 clients and part-time 15-20hrs or 20 clients.
  • Salary is based on experience, $35-$45 per client session, and annual raises.
  • Company funded continuous training and certifications after one(1) year of uninterrupted employment with Insight Inverse Counseling, LLC.

Location:
  • On-site or Remote.
