The agency may authorize the selected candidate to telecommute. The candidate may need to report to the office as needed. The agency may terminate or modify the telecommuting arrangement at any time.

This position serves as a liaison between the RPCs and our Department to ensure services are delivered in accordance with best practice, current research, and the annual contract.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides direction, integration and coordination of prevention services to communities through the Regional Prevention Centers, located across the state.
- Coordinates development of policies and procedures to implement prevention programs and services with providers. Provides training on best practices of community coalitions with local agencies, civic partners, groups and providers.
- Provides technical assistance to providers concerning program development, outreach, alternative funding sources and local partner strategies.
- Monitors, evaluates and reports established performance indicators and measures associated with prevention activities to comply with federal funding requirements. Monitors financial expenditures and provides technical assistance as needed to ensure accurate, timely and completion of all required reporting.
- Possess or obtain within hiring the Certified Prevention Specialist certification. Maintain throughout employment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
