Job Overview
Currently searching for Group Facilitators who is passionate about making connections, empathetic and creative. As a Group Facilitator you will provide services for our clients on a weekly basis depending on our needs and your availability
- Collaborate with the clinical team to help develop a comprehensive treatment plan for our program
- Deliver appropriate topics on scheduled groups
- Complete all group notes in a timely manner after each group session and document in each client’s medical records into software
- Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
- Conduct group recovery-focused counseling sessions; workshops on relapse prevention, self-help skills, problem solving, and trigger behavior management with clients and family members
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations; maintain timely and accurate clinical notes in client’s medical records according to clinical guidelines.
Education Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency
- Substance abuse Counselor Certification or AMFT, ACSW (Required)
- Minimum of one year of experience in substance use counseling (preferred)
- Valid California License
- Reliable transportation
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- COVID-19 Vaccinatio
