Job Overview

Currently searching for Group Facilitators who is passionate about making connections, empathetic and creative. As a Group Facilitator you will provide services for our clients on a weekly basis depending on our needs and your availability

  • Collaborate with the clinical team to help develop a comprehensive treatment plan for our program
  • Deliver appropriate topics on scheduled groups
  • Complete all group notes in a timely manner after each group session and document in each client’s medical records into software
  • Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director
  • Conduct group recovery-focused counseling sessions; workshops on relapse prevention, self-help skills, problem solving, and trigger behavior management with clients and family members
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations; maintain timely and accurate clinical notes in client’s medical records according to clinical guidelines.

Education Qualifications

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Substance abuse Counselor Certification or AMFT, ACSW (Required)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in substance use counseling (preferred)
  • Valid California License
  • Reliable transportation
  • CPR/ First Aid Certification
  • COVID-19 Vaccinatio

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
