South Community is hiring a Therapist at our Vandalia location. The principal responsibilities of this position are to provide outpatient counseling to children and adults. This therapy-based position will diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral problems. This person is responsible for the clinical record and collaboration with other providers to provide comprehensive care to the population served. This person may diagnose and treat emotional and behavioral problems and substance abuse disorders under supervision specified by licensure.
This candidate must have a master’s degree or higher and must be licensed in the State of Ohio as a Counselor or Social Worker (LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, LISW-S. Access to an operational vehicle, automobile insurance ($100,000/$300,000 liability coverage) and a valid driver’s license is required. Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle check and drug test. Must maintain a current NPI number.
