Job Overview

SUMMARY

This is a management position responsible for the daily operation of a residential facility supporting people with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Directly supervises 7 to 15 employees in the residential site. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Integrate, coordinate and insure the delivery of client services and supports.
  • Provide direct supervision of all personnel in non-exempt positions assigned to the home.
  • Management of the home(s) including fiscal monitoring and budget compliance, maintenance and upkeep of physical environment including vehicles if assigned to the home, staff scheduling, obtaining supplies and equipment.
  • Acts as the manager on-call for section when assigned.
  • Acts as a member of NWMHMS, Inc.’s, management team including participation in the development of agency policy and procedures, providing oral and written feedback regarding agency operations, and participating in the development and practice of quality service delivery.
  • Demonstrate respect for, and courtesy to consumers, co-workers, extended team members, families, supervisors, and visitors at all times.
  • Assure the home is in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Must have at least one year of experience serving individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Salary: $17.69 /hour PLEASE NOTE: Due to the staffing challenges raised by the Pandemic, a substantial wage increase for managers has been implemented. These will be discussed at the time of interviewing. The increases will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Pay: $36,803.00 – $63,668.00 per year
